This is my tall cylinder which I glazed with light green and yellow on the outside and black on the inside. It is 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. I tried to blend the yellow and green glaze on the outside to create a more interesting appearance so that there is not a single color with no attempt at any design. The darker glaze on the inside helps the cylinder to appear deeper in size. This project helped me remember some of the skills that I had used two years ago when I first took ceramics and I also learned more about choking the project to keep the wall more vertical. This cylinder has great contrast because of the way the lighter color on the outside stands out from the dark, black glaze on the inside. This cylinder is significant because the way that the green and yellow glaze are similar in color to the area we live in today.
