This is my 6 inch wide by 4 inches tall hand and wheel project which I glazed with white on the base of the project and blue lines on the inside. On the outside I used some dark green glaze on the pieces of clay that I added to the bowl. The most important thing that I learned when making this project is how to make something on the wheel that is the correct shape and size to add whatever clay I feel is necessary on the outside. The blue lines (color) on the inside help show an interesting pattern because of the size and shape of them. The most important thing about this project is that it is unique in terms of its shape and design.

This is my set of three project which I glazed half and half with blue and green glaze. They all are about 6 inches tall and 6 inches wide at the top of the bowls. I like the way the glazed merge to create a new and interesting color. The one thing I learned when making this project is how to creat 3 projects that are similar size and have similar shape. I tried to remember what technique I used for each so that I could duplicate it on another project. The two colors used throughout this project shows a nice pattern because of the way that they are all evenly glazed with blue and green glaze. The most important thing about these three bowls is that they look exactly the same and can serve the same purpose at home or wherever they are placed.
These are my two plates which are about 6 inches wide and less than an inch tall (obviously because it’s a plate). Both are glazed half and half with blue and green glaze. The thing that I like the most about these two plates is that they are great appetizer plates for Seahawks games because of there color and size. The one thing I learned when making these two plates is how to press down the clay and pull out a small lip to make the plates. Where the two glazed meet, the colors contrast in in a way that shows a new design and also an interesting appearance. The shine of the glaze also shows a different look and feel in every form of light because of the way the light reflects off them. The most important thing about these plates is that they make great plates for appetizers when watching a Seahawks game or any Seattle game.
This is my 6 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall large bowl. The base glaze used was white and then I splattered the blue glaze around the inside and outside of the bowl. The skill that I learned while making this is how to maintain the shape of the bowl while pulling the wall really wide for this project. The blue glaze splattered all over the white base glaze of the bowl created an uneven pattern that is appealing because of the way that glaze is different on every portion of the bowl. My favorite part about this bowl is that the white base helps it fit into any modern environment because of the white base and light blue glaze.
